I thought I’d start it all off with one of my favorite photos.
My friend Alina lives off of the Del Dios Highway in San Diego. Her and her husband live in a small but charming home that you can’t help but feel welcome in and Alina is always waiting for you with tea and snacks and good conversation. Their community is quiet and friendly with only about 200 homes or so. Folks stop and chat with one another on their daily strolls. And, oh, how lovely the daily strolls can be! There are so many big magnificent trees all around… places to explore… nooks and crannies just waiting to be discovered.
This photo is from one of those strolls. Alina had been dogsitting this cutie named Dozer and you can see him here with Alina. Alina and Dozer walked under these two crazy arching trees and I just happened to catch them. Dozer took us on quite an adventure right after this (jumping into a murky part of the nearby lake and causing all sorts of trouble) but that’s a story for another time……
